ABOUT US

At HFF, we believe the family is the reflection of our relationship with Our Creator, and thus, is of utmost importance. As a result, we focus on creating and maintaining an atmosphere where healthy, thriving families are encouraged and cultivated.

We believe the worship of Yeshua (Jesus) is not only a necessary and beneficial part of our faith but that it is only from a worshipful heart and the power of the Holy Spirit that we can even begin to understand how to walk in a way reflective of our love for Him. Thus, we place a high priority on worship in our services and in our daily lives.

We affirm that the land of Israel belongs to The Lord and that He has appointed His Chosen People to be the stewards of that land. We affirm that Israel is composed of the Jewish people and those of us from among the nations who have been “grafted in” of Israel (Romans 11) and have become part of the “commonwealth of Israel” (Ephesians 2) through our confession of faith (Romans 10).

We affirm that it is only through developing and maintaining a community of believers in the Yeshua (Jesus), filled with the Holy Spirit, that we can pursue His instructions properly. It is by and through community that we can encourage, uplift, and support, with the common goal of living and walking together in such a way that we will all hear the words of Our Master when He tells each one of us, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25)

We affirm that our calling is to help bring the kingdom of God to earth by feeding the poor, helping orphans and widows, and being a light in our local community by partnering together with other churches and organizations to advance God’s kingdom alone, not ours.

OUR HISTORY

HFF was founded in December 2015 with a desire to have a Non-denominational Church that meets on Saturdays in the OKC Metro area. We held our first service in February 2016 in Norman, OK. Our Dallas campus was started in October 2018.  We strive to be a whole Bible church that is centered on the fact that Yeshua (Jesus) is Messiah and God, and as such we are to model our walk in His likeness by loving others where they are at in the journey.

WE BELIEVE

  • Jesus is fully God and fully human. No one comes to the Father but through Jesus. Through His atoning work on the cross and resurrection, we can be born again. Jesus was born of a virgin and conceived as a gift from God. (John 5:46-47, 10:30, 8:58, 1:1, 1:14, 20:28, Hebrews 1:8, Matthew 2:11, 14:33, 28:9, Luke 24:52, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 10:9, 1 Corinthians 3:11)

  • The Holy Spirit is fully God, equal with the Father and the Son present and working together from creation. The Holy Spirit leads us to knowledge and wisdom of understanding of the word of God, Jesus as Messiah, and imparts gifts to edify and unify the body of Messiah. (Matthew 3:11; John 1:12-13, 3:1-15, 15:26-27, 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:4-13; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; Ephesians 1:13-14, 5:18; Galatians 5:22-23)

  • Yahweh is the one true God who exists and interacts with creation as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three persons are equal in essence, deity, and power. (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalm 90:2; Psalm 102:27; 1 Timothy 1:17; John 1:1-2, 8:58; Hebrews 1:8, 9:14; 1 John 1:2; Revelation 1:8)

  • The Church is compromised by the disciples of Jesus Christ, under the headship of Jesus.  The Church is the authoritative body used by God to execute His redemptive mission for humanity.  The Church is commanded to tend to the needs of the widows, orphans, and less fortunate.  The four key pillars of practice for the church are: the Apostles’ teaching, table fellowship, prayer, corporate worship.   • Our salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus and is not something our works can obtain. (Acts 16:31, 10:43, Ephesians 2:8, Luke 7:50, Romans 10:9, John 3:15, Genesis 15:6)

  • The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are “breathed out” by God. It is the authority and revelation of God for mankind. (Matthew 5:18, John 10:35, 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

  • The Sabbath is a gift given by God to man. It is not to be used as a weapon of self-righteousness or division. (Mark 2:27, Acts 5:21-23, Genesis 2:3)
